Comments | The High School for Girls was established by Southport Education Committee in 1907, and became a Grammar School. The original building was situated on Scarisbrick New Road and the corner of Sefton Street, and was replaced in 1958 when the school moved to a new modern building at Hillside. The new school became a comprehensive school for girls in 1978, which specialises in modern foreign languages. |
