Image details

Comments In 1758, Catherine Halsall left money in her will for a girl's school to be built on land she owned with her brother. Reputedly, this site is the oldest girl's school in Lancashire. However, the present day building dates from 1912, and is now a co-education school, and re-named St Luke's Halsall, c1972.
