| Comments | This rare image shows ARP Wardens in Southport. In the middle row wearing the darkest coat is Mrs Ada Brown Gill, her husband was serving with the RAF abroad. Ada worked in the Goods Depot during the war which was situated on the corner of Kensington and Derby Road, today this site is a retail outlet. |
