Comments | Herbert Henry Asquith was a Liberal Party politician and Prime Minister from 1908 until 1916. Margot Asquith ne Tennant was his second wife and they married in May 1894. In July 1909 H.H Asquith visited Southport to attend a delegate reception given by the Southport Liberal Association. Two Thousand guests attended, and Cambridge Hall was used for the reception. |
