John Fernly resided at Clairville in Birkdale and he was a keen town benefactor. He was responsible for donating funds and fulling the entire cost of Trinity Wesleyan Church in Mornington Road Southport in 1863. Within Twenty-five years another nine Wesleyan Methodist daughter churches were added to the group. |
